Paalum Pazhamum (2024) Tamil

In the 1961 film Paalum Pazhamum, Sivaji Ganesan is a doctor who is trying to find a cure for cancer. B. Saroja Devi is his nurse, who fully assists him in his research. After the death of Saroja Devi’s father, the doctor marries her. After working day and night, the doctor finally develops a cure for cancer, but then discovers that his wife has tuberculosis. Seeing his wife’s illness, the doctor abandons his research and concentrates solely on caring for her. Seeing this, the wife feels that she is becoming an obstacle in the doctor’s work, so she quietly catches a train and goes away somewhere.
